All guests, staff, and volunteers at Mozaic are responsible for creating an affirming, safer, and supportive space for all to enjoy.
- Confidentiality is key, not everyone is out in all spaces.
- Space and events are open to all, but prioritized for Queer and Trans folks
- Throw glitter, not shade. Everyone is welcome, this is a non-judgmental space.
- We are mindful of using folks’ correct pronouns. Please ask before assuming others’ pronouns.
- We first seek to understand and in doing so, we can assume good intent while also acknowledging impact – if something we say or do causes harm, we commit to working through it.
- Speak from your lived experiences, use “I” statements.
- Respect personal boundaries and consent.
- Leave the space as you found it, if not better.
- Respect the space and those occupying the space.
- Mozaic is a substance-use-free space, use of these substances will not be permitted inside the building.
- Participants may come and go as they please, unless the guidelines submitted here are not followed.
- Please observe building guidelines and respect all parties inside the buildings we occupy.
- Please be mindful of our neighbors in and around the building and maintain respectful volume and activity levels.
- Disturbing or disrupting behaviors should be minimized when appropriate.
- Participants who do not follow these agreements may be asked to leave the space. Continued disruption may result in more defined agreements and contracts for further engagement
