About Cory Frederick
Cory Frederick is the Program Manager for Mozaic, and he supports his team and their goal of building community, health, and wellness among trans* and gender non-conforming youth. As Black, transman himself, he understands the strengths and opportunities in the TGNCPOC community, and his professional background includes social justice advocacy, LGBTQ cultural competency training, and higher education instruction. He earned a B.S.S. in geology and plant biology and holds an M.Ed. in cultural studies, both from Ohio University.
About Sarah Z. Mamo
Sarah Z. Mamo (they/she) is an Engagement Specialist with the MOZAIC program at Equitas Health. They have lived in Columbus their whole life and recently graduated from Ohio State with two degrees in African-American & African Studies and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies.
About Sile Singleton
Sile (pronounced She-LAH) Singleton is a native of Zanesville, Ohio and is proud to be from ‘Y-bridge river country.’ Sile is fascinated by the intersections of ‘isms’ and how it informs/instructs positive perceptions of “faith” and gender in our daily lives.
For the past 30 years Sile has spent the majority of her performance time host emceeing various community events around Columbus, the US and Canada. She is an accomplished gender performer best known for her gender bending portrayals of the sassy Lustivious Dela Virgion and the savvy Luster Dela V.
He is the co-founder and visionary of 1990’s nationally and internationally acclaimed drag king troupe, H.I.S. KINGS and IDKE (The International Drag King Extravaganza). Singleton is featured in several documentary films; most notable Discovery Health’s “Drag Kings on Tour” (Atlantis 2004) and 2016’s break out documentary “Kings, Queens and In-Betweens (Five Sisters Productions, 2016). For 8+ years they toured with their one person play, “PAINT! A Transformative Project” and with a multi-generational production titled “THE LOVE IN(side) Faith & Positive Perceptions of Self”; a show that merged traditional cross-dressing & drag performance with pop, urban & gospel music, spoken word and faith, in a fantastic exploration of cultural blending rarely captured/presented in such an honest and vulnerable way.
She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a Master’s and Bachelors of Arts degree in Women’s Studies. Her emphasis was mass popular culture and critical race theory. He is a former coordinator of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Student Services and director of Ethnic Student Services at OSU, as well a 14 year veteran coordinator of the Pride Family and Teen Area for Stonewall Columbus’ yearly Pride Festival. Recently they held a dual position at Summit United Methodist Church (SUMC) as the Director of Outreach Ministries and the Program Director for The University District Freedom School. All which has provided them with an incredible toolbox for creating positive change in community. Sile is ecstatic in her newest role as Mozaic Outreach Coordinator and looks forward to having a sustainable and positive impact on 13-29 year old, TGNC People of Color, their family, friends and service providers lives.
About Mikayla Robinson
Ms. Mikayla Robinson reside from Columbus, Ohio eastside. They are 31 years of age, a graduate of Aveda Institute with certification as a Managing Cosmetologist.
Currently employed with the Mozaic program as an Engagement Specialist thru Equitas Health. Within this position they are out in the community testing and providing linkage to care, also responsible for ensuring that people living with HIV are able to access and maintain care. They have also done many shows and benefits that has raised funds and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS, along with many other efforts of help for other lgbtqia organizations.
She is known in the community as a positive representation and as an entertainer that has gained local, nation, and international success, also have gained titles and awards in the industry of pageantry, modeling, and entertainment. Being a positive force with a positive attitude, and a great smile.
Currently reigning as Miss Gay Paramount Ohio via to become Miss Gay Ohio. She has won community platform in her prelim, which she stands for awareness and better care for people of color who are transgender, gender non binary, non-conforming also while bringing awareness to PrEP.
